We’re taking a short break

We will be taking a short break from Wednesday 22 December and will be back on deck on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

All of us at TEAM LPV wish you and your closest a safe and fun festive season. At this time we wish to reflect upon the challenges of the past few months and invite you to join us in imagining a bright and uplifting start to 2022.

LPV CEO Richard Keane sends seasons greetings as 2021 draws to a close. “I want to reflect on how grateful I am for the patience, tenacity and endurance shown by our members and the broader Victorian PLHIV community in rising to the many challenges that have come our way.

The 40th anniversary of the first diagnosis of HIV has given me pause to reflect on the unique impacts of facing a second pandemic in our lifetimes.   Contrasts and comparisons have been drawn by many, but it is only those of us living with HIV that truly understand this unique  lived experience and its challenges of being required again, to dig deep within,  to draw upon our well renowned strength and resilience that is both intensely personal and community wide.

Living Positive Victoria, acknowledges and understands that the effects of the convergence of HIV and Covid-19 will continue to have a significant impact on all of us for some time to come, but we want you to know that Living Positive Victoria will continue to be here to support you.

There is a palpable sense of energy and excitement returning among our Board, staff team and many volunteers, as we begin to plan our forward events calendar for 2022 and re-establish face- to- face service delivery.

We would like to wish all of our members, supporters, partners, families, allies and the ever diversifying communities with which we engage, a safe and restorative holiday period and hope the opportunity to re-connect in-person,  provides the foundation for renewed optimism in the year ahead.
