Living Positive Victoria welcomes Taylor Mitchell to the role of Community Engagement Officer.
In this role, Taylor will contribute to the media and communications functions of the organisation and assist the Senior Communications Officer in the development of content for our communications platforms to help enhance LPVs aims, mission and values across the breadth and diversity of Victoria’s HIV populations.
Living Positive Victoria Senior Media and Communications Officer, Brenton Geyer, welcomes Taylor to Team LPV by saying “Taylor brings the professional skills, creative energy and degree of community passion that is needed to meet the complex and diverse requirements of the role. The communications function of Living Positive Victoria is key to steering our organisation forward and maintaining our position of leadership in the sector as well as responding to the multiple needs of our service delivery.”
In joining the team, Taylor says that she feels “fortunate to become part of an organisation and community with a legacy of supporting HIV positive people to thrive, working towards a future without stigma. I look forward to using the skills I have gained in the academic, creative and non-profit sectors to support Victoria’s Positive communities.”
Taylor is a writer, content strategist and communications specialist with a strong background in the not-for-profit sector, bringing the strength of her experience to the organisation so people living with HIV in Victoria will be even further connected to our programs, services and resources.
