Womens’ Day COVID-19 Edition
Due to COVID-19, we haven’t had the chance to get together for our annual womens’ day, but that won’t stop us. You are invited to the very first online womens’ day.
Community leader Susan Paxton will be running a beautiful workshop called Mapping My Journey. Susan will guide you on a journey of self-reflection, empowerment and the power of sisterhood. Susan has run these workshops in Australia and overseas, and is looking forward to running this workshop with you in July.
Some supplies are needed for this event, but do not worry. Once you have registered, we will send you out a pack of everything you will need, maybe even some extra treats. To protect your privacy, the package will be unmarked. It will only have your address on it. There will be no return address or identifying information inside the package.
After the workshop there will be a chance for a much needed catch up.
This event will be held online, via a video chat platform called Zoom, which can be accessed by smart phones, an iPad or tablet or computer. If you have any questions on how to work Zoom please email Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on 0490 132 604.
Once you have registered, you will be sent a link to access the Zoom event. Please do not share this link, as privacy and confidentiality is very important.
During the workshop please make sure you find a quiet place to join in. Headphones are helpful for those living in a busy household. It keeps you from getting distracted and protects other participants’ privacy.
We do ask that for this workshop you use your video and chat function but if having your video on is too much feel free to participate with audio only. This is a safe place for all of us.
