After a survey conducted earlier this year, we found that talking about HIV with potential intimate partners remains a hot topic, so we have put together a workshop.

We will:

  • explore ways to share our story well, as it relates to HIV
  • hear a personal story from a serodiscordant couple*
  • explore exactly what the law says when it comes to HIV, sex and relationships

This event is for Womxn(*) and heterosexual men who live with HIV. Partners welcome.

This event will be held online, via a video chat platform called Zoom, which can be accessed by smart phones, an iPad or tablet or computer. If you have any questions on how to work Zoom please email me at sfeagan@livingpositivevictoria.org.au or call me on 0490 132 604.

To register, click here.

Once you have registered, you will be sent a link to access the Zoom event. Please do not share this link as privacy and confidentiality is very important. During the workshop please make sure you find a quiet place to join in. Headphones are helpful for those living in a busy house hold. It keeps you from getting distracted and protects other participants’ privacy.

We do ask that for this workshop you use your video and chat function but if having your video on is too much feel free to participate with audio only. This is a safe place for us.

*sero-discordant couple: where one person is HIV positive, and the other HIV negative.

(*)changing the E for a X in Womxn is inclusive all people who identify as female.

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
