Why is HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day important to me?

Join Living Positive Victoria and Thorne Harbour Health for our next ‘Taking Charge – Peer Support Network’ live video chat as we discuss HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day.

This annual commemoration was launched by Let’s Kick ASS (AIDS Survivor Syndrome) in 2014 to recognise the strength and resilience of people living long-term with HIV and AIDS.

Let’s share our stories of important moments in our lives as well as what actually makes us resilient in dealing with the challenges of living with HIV long-term.

We’ll also be showing our video Across the Generations.

Once you’ve registered, you will receive an email closer to the date with instructions on how to join in.

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
