People living with HIV have unique resources to offer one another.

Navigating Quality of Life: the experiences of new and temporary migrants living with HIV is an exciting new research output from Living Positive and collaborators, exploring the quality of life experienced by new and temporary migrants who participated in a peer navigation program operating in Victoria. This research is an important extension of our understanding of peer navigation programs – a model that Living Positive Victoria is committed to maintaining and improving into the future.

Living Positive Victoria Health Promotion Officer, Timothy Krulic, is presenting his research Navigating Quality of Life online at La Trobe’s HDR Seminar on Tuesday. Community members are welcome to join via Zoom.

This research is the outcome of a collabotation between the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, La Trobe University, Living Positive Victoria, and the Centre for Social Impact at University of New South Wales. The paper will also be presented in a shorter format as part of the Joint Australiasian HIV&AIDS + Sexual Health Conferences in Queensland

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
