How has HIV shaped your life? Join Living Positive Victoria for an online two-hour workshop as we explore our personal relationship with HIV.

Our workshop Positive Reflections invites you to trace your evolving experiences of HIV; pre-diagnosis, diagnosis and living with a positive status.

In this intimate workshop we will ask participants to explore and reflect on the ways in which HIV has impacted their lives. With a focus on the challenges, misconceptions and building wellbeing, we hope to provide a safe space for participants to share their personal journeys.

The workshop will be facilitated by two of our Peer Navigation team, Emil Canita and Beau Newham

Numbers are limited as this is an intimate online workshop setting. This workshop is open to MSM identifying men and trans and gender-diverse folks.

We hope to run this event at our South bank office; however, in the case of complications brought by COVID-19, we will be moving this workshop online via Zoom. If transport or having the appropriate technology to connect online is an issue for you, please get in touch with us as we may be able to provide some support.

We understand that attending these types of events can be anxiety-inducing and may not be easy for people who are neurodivergent or experience a disability to attend. As part of your registration, our Health Promotion Office/Peer Navigator, Emil Canita will be in touch with you to check in if you need any additional support.

Catering for the evening will be provided by Slow Food Catering.

If you do have any questions or would like to talk to Emil now, please feel free to send Emil an email at emil@livingpositivevictoria.org.au

We’re looking forward to having you join us.
