Our Phoenix workshops have helped hundreds of people over the years to manage their HIV diagnosis.

In this two day workshop, you’ll hear medical professionals discuss everything you need to know about HIV, how it affects the immune system, what CD4 count and viral load test results mean and how STIs can impact on your health in the context of having HIV.

You’ll be able to ask questions, share your experience living with the virus and explore ways to overcome challenges, with the guidance of a counsellor, around topics including disclosure, sex and relationships.

The workshop starts on Friday 18 October at 6pm for pizza, then the workshop runs 7 – 9pm.
The workshop continues Saturday 19 October from 9am – 5pm.

Past participant feedback
“This workshop definitely helped me a lot with everything I’ve been through. I now have a better understanding with HIV. I wouldn’t change anything.”
“It was very good workshop because it helps me to be more confident to meet new people and share my story.”

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
