You are invited to Gen Next’s Travel Safe – our March discussion night.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel while living with HIV? Maybe you’ve been recently diagnosed in Australia and are seeking information on migration options for people living with HIV?

For our March Discussion Night, we have you covered. The Gen Next team has organised a meeting with: “our experts” Sarah, Heather and Katherine.

Heather is a woman living with HIV with extensive experience travelling the world. She has journeyed on her motorcycle through the continent of Africa and along the Silk Road and has published two books chronicling her journeys.

Sarah is also a positive woman and along with her past experiences as a traveller she will soon be heading off to travel the world for a year.

Katherine is a migration agent who currently volunteers at the Positive Living Centre and is a representative of the HIV and AIDS Legal Centre.

There will be plenty of opportunity to speak with our experts, ask questions and share a story or two.

Gen Next is a social group for people under the age of 35 who are living with HIV.

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
