Donate to our GiveOUT Day Holiday Hamper Program and your contribution will be doubled

Please donate to help us make a difference this holiday season.

Living Positive Victoria is celebrating GiveOUT Day on 20 October, a national day of giving that unites rainbow communities across Australia to raise money for LGBTQ+ projects and charities. In the lead up to, and on GiveOUT Day, LPV is raising money to fund our annual Holiday Hamper Project.

Every dollar you donate before 20 October will be doubled by GiveOUT and their partners.

Many people living with HIV are isolated due to familial rejection or forced relocation for medical treatment. Our holiday hampers are a reminder that there are people and organisations in the community who care about them over the holiday period. We were even able to continue the hamper tradition through lockdown, bringing a bit of cheer to community members under the compounding stresses of life.

The hampers give special hope for individuals and families living with and affected by HIV in Victoria. Each year we provide goodness-filled gift hampers to those who most need some support over the holiday period. This year our goal is to distribute 100 hampers to folk in need of your help.

“Many members of our HIV community are disproportionately isolated and the effect of this is felt particularly hard at Christmas time. If you have the ability to provide even a small donation to our annual Holiday Hamper Program, we would be extremely grateful.”

– Richard Keane, CEO Living Positive Victoria.

We are asking for your generous support in helping us fund the hampers this year. Help us reach our goal of raising $1,500 by giving to LPV in the lead up to GiveOUT Day on 20 October – your donation will make a positive impact to the health and wellbeing of the people and communities we serve. With over 100 hampers to fill, every contribution counts.
