Call for Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Working Group members

Join our Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Working Group

Living Positive Victoria is calling for community members from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD) to explore a sense of the culturally-sensitive and culturally-pertinent issues within their communities, in particular around HIV awareness, language, stigma, testing & treatment and service access.

We hope to understand and gain more community-driven insight into the overlap between living with HIV and belonging to another cultural or ethnic community in Victoria.

Participants are gently encouraged to bring their lived experience and expert opinions when it comes to their community, with assurance that  participation is within a safe and private setting.

We are also more than welcoming to allies and non-CALD folk that might work/engage/volunteer/etc with CALD communities.

To help us to start a conversation about the needs of your community, please register your interest by emailing info@livingpositivevictoria.org.au with a short statement detailing how you would like to contribute.

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
