About Us
Legends Library
AIDS activists have been central to the health and wellbeing of positive people because of their enormous dedication and capacity to improve their quality of life since HIV emerged in Victoria in the early eighties.
These portraits and stories is by no means the sum total of the many individuals with AIDS who we are indebted to who made a difference and dedicated their lives to overcome the challenges brought about by the virus for positive people. This exhibition is illustrative of the brave men and women who have stood up as leaders, as activists and as thinkers in the history of HIV/AIDS and how it has unfolded in our Victorian community.
