This year’s annual report highlighted the broad reach the organisation has in reaching all people living with HIV (PLHIV). After a successful merge with Straight Arrows and under the leadership of an intern Board of Directors comprised of Straight Arrows and Living Positive Victoria Directors, Living Positive Victoria delivered on all of its key business objectives.

This includes the addition of a peer support worker, a new program to address the needs of ageing PLHIV and a national photography competition to raise awareness and education towards the damaging effects of HIV related
stigma.

The Strategic Plan 2018 and Beyond is the cornerstone for how Living Positive Victoria will govern itself and contribute to the HIV response in Victoria. The vision of the organisation includes the meaningful involvement of PLHIV, responsiveness to all the needs of PLHIV, using a bipartisan approach and having a gender sensitive approach to any work that we do.
